What is a mall. Here are 3 definitions from the online dictionary.

1. A big, often enclosed shopping complex containing varied stores, businesses, and restaurants usually accessible by common passage ways.

3. A shady public walk or promenade.

Most online malls that are presented online today are composed of a list of independent and nationally known stores that offer a variety of products that can be comprised of clothing, household products, pet supplies, childrens toys and lots more.

Most online malls have more to merchandise than your off-line malls. The online malls can provide a more diverse choice of services and products that may be more out of the norm compared to your off-line mall. Some online malls offer webmaster tools, date services, background search and a list of other services that cannot be found at an off-line mall. Online malls can simply expand their list of services and goods in a case of minutes compared to off-line malls that sometimes takes months to develop a new store.

Online malls offer the ease and convenience of shopping from your lounge with never having to leave the comfort of your home and never have to worry about travelling across town and looking out for a parking spot. All one has to do is merely a search for the specific item while not having to travel from mall to mall to only find the things they were trying to find is sold out or not at a air price.

Online malls can be highly competitive on pricing because the overhead of operating a online mall is considerably more than that of an off-line mall that will may have rent as high as or over $100 per square foot, and a proportion of sales to the mall owners. The elevated price of leasing a space at an off-line mall has driven some shops into Chapter 11. Most shops have to inflate their price because of the high overhead costs of operating an off-line store. Considering the heavy price of hire worker fees, insurance, and more has put a serious burden on many owners.

Online malls have just began to develop their presence online and with today’s state-of-the-art technology it has made it more attractive to today’s buyers to shop online.

Many unique and tough to find merchants that offer a range of different products have found a new market place to present their products and can rub shoulders with enormous brand-name outlets.

I have owned several stores in an off-line mall for one or two years. I presently have built a online mall that gives a wider variety than I ever could’ve imagined. This is a real online mall. I've always had a passion for helping my consumers to find that special product at a good price.
